“I still find each day too short for all the thoughts I want to think, all the walks I want to take, all the books I want to read, and all the friends I want to see. The longer I live, the more my mind dwells upon the beauty and the wonder of the world.” -John Burroughs
These are the little things in life, the things that make your heart skip a beat, and maybe the things we pass up the most. We take many things for granted because we don’t see them enough or think about them to the fullest– there is always something to preoccupy our time. Many things such as taking a walk or reading gets put on the back burner because it is easy to say, “sure, I will do it later.” But will you? There is so much world to see, even in your own backyard. There is so much life to live, deep within our souls. Let your mind float, your heart dream, so that these things can become a part of us. Although our days seem short and we run out of time to do things we want, why don’t we make time for the necessities– “out with the old, in with the new,”–progress and grow in our lives in order to see what we want to see and do. The more time we use the more life we use. So lets make it the best and follow our hearts. Lets be in the world, but not of the world.
