the beauty of friendship

“Friendship is certainly the finest balm for the pangs of disappointed love.”

“What is a friend?  A single soul dwelling in two bodies.” – aristotle

“Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same.” — Anonymous

“friends are the sunshine of life.”

The beauty of friendship starts when you open your heart and life to the other person.  They become part of you and are always there no matter what circumstance.  A friend never judges, but always tells you the truth.  a friend never expects you to be at their every move but to be there when you need a shoulder to cry on, someone to laugh with…at 2 am, have a coffee date anytime of the day, help you up when you fall, encourage you to move forward, make dinner with–breakfast and lunch…and the list goes on. my point being that friends won’t be perfect…just like you aren’t.  but just because you have a disagreement doesn’t mean you can’t work it out and move on.  people come and go and friends are those people.  its hard to imagine someone leaving your life but there has to be a good reason.  a friendship can’t be selfish, just like any relationship, both must give and take.  a good friend is a positive friend and should never make you feel like someone you aren’t.  a friend can make your whole world different–with one smile, saying i love you or re-living memories.  the best of friends will be there through thick and thin, weak or strong.  those best friends will be standing beside you in your journey–even on the day you get married.  friendship is beautiful and nothing is more rewarding then knowing you can truly count on someone with pure honesty and trust.

*To all my friends– you are all beautiful and i love you from the bottom of my heart. nothing is better than laughing with you, crying with you and creating the best of memories.  XO
